Explore Aincrad freely. Adds “Floor 1 Free Roam” and “Floor 2 Free Roam” options to the town quest terminal that load each entire floor as a seamless open world. Full map visible, all regions populated with enemies, chests, and terminals, no barriers, no out‑of‑bounds penalties. Core quests remain unchanged and your save file is never altered.

DESCRIPTION

AincradOpenWorld transforms each floor into a true sandbox. The mod adds separate Free Roam entries for Floors 1 and 2 at the quest terminal; selecting one boots the whole floor with everything active from the start. You get the full detailed map, live spawns and loot across every region, and zero progression gates—explore and battle wherever you like.

Original quest listings are left intact. The Free Roam items are separate clones that sit alongside vanilla entries, so you can play the game exactly as shipped. Additionally, starting any normal field quest also unlocks the entire floor for that session, letting you wander well beyond the objective area.

Session flow: choose a Free Roam entry, load in, and the original quest objective stays available as the natural way to end. Finish it to claim rewards or choose Give Up to return to town. The mod never writes to your save.

Under the hood, it expands each quest’s region manifest at load so it covers the whole floor, then the game’s native systems handle real spawns, chests, terminals, and the authentic map. Free Roam runs through the game’s own free‑quest variant path, preserving normal start/finish behavior.

A config file lets you select which quests get Free Roam versions and their names, edit the info‑panel text, or blacklist specific quests to remain fully vanilla.

INSTALLATION

Download and extract. Place the AincradOpenWorld folder into:
Echoes of Aincrad\EchoesofAincrad\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods
Launch the game; the included enabled.txt activates the mod. To remove, delete the AincradOpenWorld folder. Quests and saves are unaffected.
