ModsPortal Terms of Service & User Agreement

Welcome to ModsPortal. By accessing our website, creating an account, or downloading any game modification files (“Mods”), you automatically agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Account Registration and Security

To access community features like uploading mods, commenting, or participating in the Bounty System, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate information and are solely responsible for all activities executed under your username. ModsPortal reserves the right to suspend accounts utilizing automated scripts (bots) or exhibiting abusive behavior.

2. Ownership and Licensing of Uploaded Content

When you upload a Mod to our servers, you retain all copyright and intellectual property rights to your original creation. However, you grant ModsPortal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute the content to other users. You explicitly warrant that your uploads do not violate third-party trademarks, game publisher EULAs, or DRM bypassing systems (No Cracks/Pirated games).

3. Strict Zero-Tolerance Policy

We actively monitor file uploads. The distribution of Malware, Trojans, Adware, or any malicious script disguised as a game mod will result in an immediate, permanent IP ban. Detected illegal content will be reported to relevant cybersecurity authorities.

4. General Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

All mods are provided “as is” and are generated by community developers. ModsPortal assumes no technical liability for any potential damage, game instability, save-file corruption, or ban from official game servers resulting from the installation of mods. Always ensure you backup your game data before applying any modifications.
