Longer Scan Mod

This modification extends the utility of the item scanning system. The scan duration is increased from 10 seconds to 1,200 seconds, and the scanning range is expanded to 180 meters (note: this feature only activates after you unlock item scanning at shelter level 2).

Important Security Warning

Always obtain REFramework directly from the official source maintained by praydog. Never download REFramework from anonymous or unofficial publishers.

Functionality Notes

1. Changes take effect on the subsequent scan performed after applying settings.

2. If you disable or uninstall the mod, all default behaviors are restored once you restart the game.

Customizing Settings

You can modify settings either via the REFramework UI (Script Generated UI > Longer Scan) or by editing the reframework\data\Longer Scan.json configuration file. Available options include:

• Display Time: How many seconds the scan results persist on your screen.

• Item Scan Range: The distance at which items are detected.

Installation Instructions

1. Prerequisites: Ensure you have the latest nightly version of REFramework installed.

2. Choose your method:

Method 1: Fluffy Mod Manager (Recommended)

• Download the mod archive and drag the file directly into the Mod Manager.

• Enable the mod within the interface.

Method 2: Manual Installation

• Download and extract the mod files.

• Copy the reframework folder into your game’s root directory. If a reframework folder is already present, merge the two folders to ensure all files are preserved.
