Fast Travel Plus

The base Windrose game caps you at just 10 Fast Travel Points per map. This mod lifts that restriction to 20, 30, or 50 points of your choosing. No other changes made, bonfires and signal fires remain untouched.

Choose One Variant Only
Download one file. Multiple variants together will conflict.

• MoreFastTravelPoints_20_P.pak — 20 points (2x default)

• MoreFastTravelPoints_30_P.pak — 30 points (3x default)

• MoreFastTravelPoints_50_P.pak — 50 points (5x default)

Installation Steps

1. Download your preferred variant.

2. Find your Windrose folder (usually Steam\steamapps\common\Windrose or right-click in Steam > Manage > Browse local files).

3. Drop the .pak file into: R5\Content\Paks\~mods (create ~mods folder if needed).

4. Launch the game. Limit active immediately.

To Remove: Delete the .pak file from ~mods.
Mod Manager: Use the Windrose Mod Manager for automatic installation.

Multiplayer & Dedicated Servers
Server: Install same .pak in R5\Content\Paks\~mods, then restart server.
Players: Everyone needs identical variant installed locally.

Sync Issues:

• Server has mod, player doesn’t: Player UI shows wrong count, server still enforces limit.

• Player has mod, server doesn’t: UI shows high limit but placements fail past 10.

Compatibility Notes
Conflicts with mods editing DA_BuildLimits_FastTravel. Choose one or the other.

Additional Details

• Bonfires unaffected.

• Signal Fire limits also scale up (watch performance with too many).

• Tested singleplayer and G-Portal servers.

• May need updates after game patches affecting building systems.
