Skip Intro Mod

This mod skips the opening sequence and loads directly into shader compilation, followed immediately by the “Press to Play” screen.

How to Install:

1. Copy the Runtime folder from the mod package into your game directory:
   \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\007 First Light

2. When prompted, allow Windows to replace the existing packagedefinition.txt file.

How to Uninstall:

1. Delete the file:
   Runtime\chunk0patch203.rpkg

2. Restore the original Runtime\packagedefinition.txt.

   • If you kept a backup, simply replace it.

   • If you did not keep a backup, delete the modified file and use Steam’s Verify Integrity of Game Files feature to restore it. This file can also be found under the game’s Misc files.

Limitations:

This mod may conflict with other mods that also replace Runtime\packagedefinition.txt and use the same patch levels. Compatibility issues will persist until a Simple Mod Framework is introduced for this game or a similar solution becomes available.
