Expand your inventory capacity past the game’s default limit.

What It Does

• Raises the starting inventory size from 50 slots to 180.

• Increases the maximum slot limit from 240 to 999.

• Any bag upgrades you already have are added on top of this new starting amount.

• Bag rewards from quests still function properly, since 180 leaves enough room for them to be applied.

Why 180 Instead of 200?

Setting the starting inventory to more than about 200 causes problems with candle, brasero, and lantern interactions in the game, based on community testing. Using 180 gives players a major inventory increase while keeping those fire-related interactions working normally.

It also avoids an issue where the game may quietly fail to apply bag quest rewards, which had caused some players to lose all of their bag upgrades after uninstalling the mod.

Why 999 Max?

The earlier warning that values above 240 would crash the game turned out to be too conservative. Community testing showed that values up to 999 work reliably. The real crash point starts at 1000 and above, so 999 is considered safe.

How To Install

1. Download the mod and install it.

2. Drag the ZIP file into CDUMM.

3. Click Apply, and the installation is complete.

How To Uninstall

• Remove it through CDUMM, or possibly with JSON Mod Manager.

• You can also use Steam and verify the integrity of the game files.

Alternative Install, Without CDUMM

If you prefer not to use CDUMM, you can download the standalone patcher from the Optional Files section instead. This method requires Python 3 to be installed. Just double-click the .bat file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Notes

• Compatible with Patch 1.01.00, which uses LZ4-compressed game data handled automatically.

• Supports Steam, Epic, and Xbox/Game Pass versions.

• Do not set starting slots above 200 if using custom values, because candle-related interactions may stop working.

• Do not set the maximum slot count to 1000 or higher, since that will crash the game.

• CDUMM automatically manages file integrity updates such as PAMT and PAPGT.

Updating From v1.3.0 Or v1.4.0

Patch 1.01.00 changed the way the game stores inventory data by adding LZ4 compression. Because of that, the older .bat patcher no longer works, and version 2.0.0 is now required.

1. In Steam, verify the integrity of the game files to restore the vanilla version.

2. Install CDUMM if you do not already have it.

3. Drag the new v2.0.0 ZIP file into CDUMM and click Apply.
