Thinner Chameleon
Squash your paintman into a slimmer profile.
This mod compresses the playable character (paintman) along the depth axis, giving all Hiders a flatter body shape. It also reduces collision size so the character can press closely against walls for improved hiding.

Overview
Visual
Replaces the paintman SkeletalMesh with a version reduced to 40% depth (front-to-back). Height and width remain unchanged. The flattening is permanently applied to the mesh itself, not via runtime scaling.
Collision
Decreases the survivor capsule radius to 1.5 (from roughly 25 in the base standing class and about 5.1 during gameplay).
Character Scope
Affects only paintman. Not compatible with Cubeman or any scale adjustments. Requires default x1.0 scale.

No additional tools, scripts, or frameworks are needed. Just install the pak file and play.
Installation (Manual)
Go to:
...\steamapps\common\MECCHA CHAMELEON\Chameleon\Content\Paks\Copy these files into the folder:
Chameleon-Windows_P.pak
Chameleon-Windows_P.ucas
Chameleon-Windows_P.utoc
Launch the game.
The _P suffix ensures the mod overrides base game assets with higher priority.
Uninstallation
Remove the three Chameleon-Windows_P.* files from the Paks directory. The process is fully reversible and leaves no residual data.
Multiplayer
Each player must install the mod individually.
The flattened appearance is rendered locally.
Collision changes are embedded in the modified assets.
For consistent visuals and proper wall interaction across all players, everyone in the session—including the host—must have the mod installed. Since the host determines physics behavior, wall-hugging will only function correctly if the host is using the mod as well.
Known Issues
Laying Down Emote: The character may hover slightly above the ground, creating a small visual gap. This is purely cosmetic.
Wall Clipping: The smaller collision radius can occasionally allow the player to pass through thin surfaces.
Credits & Tools
This mod was created by editing cooked assets directly—scaling mesh vertices and reducing the BodyCapsule radius in the survivor Blueprint—then repackaging everything as an IoStore patch. No original game files are redistributed or altered.
