Pal Analyzer

Overview
Shows detailed info and stats for wild pals when you hover your cursor over them. Stats unlock progressively as you capture more of a species to keep discovery balanced. The mod integrates with the game’s UI for a native look and offers configuration options.

Notes
– Client-side only — do not install on dedicated servers. Works in singleplayer and multiplayer.
– Default toggle: hold Left Alt (keyboard) or Right Bumper (gamepad) to display info above a pal. Toggle and other bindings are configurable in-game (default config menu: Shift + O).
– Progressive unlocks (configurable):
– 0 captures: basic stats (Attack, Defense)
– 5 captures: active abilities
– 10 captures: passive abilities
– By default you won’t see full stats for a species until you’ve captured at least 10 of that species (can be changed).

Installation

Auto (Vortex)
1. Ensure UE4SS v3.0+ is installed.
2. On the mod page Files tab, click “Mod Manager Download” for Pal Analyzer.
3. In-game, press Shift + O to open options.

Manual
1. Ensure UE4SS is installed.
2. Open your PalWorld game folder:
– Steam: Right-click game → Manage → Browse local files.
– Xbox App: Manage → FILES → BROWSE…
3. Locate: …\Pal\Content\Paks\LogicMods\
4. Download and extract the mod (choose correct platform version).
5. Copy the extracted contents (not the parent folder) into the LogicMods folder.
6. In-game, press Shift + O to access settings.

Configuration
– In-game config: Shift + O (remappable).
– Config file: …\Pal\Content\Paks\LogicMods\PalAnalyzerConfig.json
– To reset settings, delete the JSON file.
