Mod Functionality

This mod provides deep control over game pacing, allowing you to tailor character and enemy movement to your preference. Recent updates have expanded these capabilities significantly:

  • Expanded Movement Controls: Adjust walking, running, and crouching speeds independently for both Leon and Grace. These settings function in both first and third-person perspectives.

  • Enemy Pacing: Version 1.3.0 introduced a global slider to adjust the speed of all enemies, along with individual override sliders for specific threats like The Girl, The Chef, Chunk, and Lickers.

  • Inertia and Physics: Version 1.2.0 added an Inertia Limiter and advanced tuning options to customize how character movement weight feels.

  • Environment Support: Full support for the orphanage area was added in version 1.1.0.

Configuration

All adjustments are made in real time using the REFramework menu. To access your settings, simply press the Insert key while in-game, navigate to Script Generated UI, and then open the Configurable Movement Speed section to manage your character movement profiles.

Important Technical Notes

  • Speed Scaling: Multipliers are set relative to the game’s default speed, where 1.00x is standard. You can scale these values anywhere from 0.50x to 5.00x.

  • Menu Location: While some settings appear under Script Generated UI, specific character movement values are located under the Character Movement submenu within that same interface.

Troubleshooting

If the mod is not functioning as expected or the menu fails to populate correctly, you can force a refresh:

  1. Press Insert to open the REFramework menu.

  2. Select Script Runner.

  3. Click Reset Scripts at the top center of the window.
