Tomodachi HD Life

Description

Have you ever wanted to revisit this game without being distracted by its low-quality, overly sharp textures? If so, we are pleased to introduce Tomodachi High-Definition Life.

This project is an HD texture pack designed specifically for Tomodachi Life, intended for use with the Citra emulator. It enhances the visual experience while preserving the original style of the game. (Please note that support for the original 3DS hardware is not provided, as it would not offer any meaningful improvements.)

Installation Instructions

Place the folder named 000400000008C400 into the following directory:
C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Citra\load\textures

Then, open Citra and ensure that both “Use Custom Textures” and “Preload Custom Textures” are enabled under Configure > Graphics.

If the game crashes after enabling these options, disable “Preload Custom Textures”, as this typically resolves the issue.

Troubleshooting

If the texture pack does not appear to work, it may be due to an active texture filter. To fix this, navigate to Configure > Graphics and set “Texture Filter” to None.
