Better Shop Mod

Better Shop Mod is a quality-of-life improvement mod for Enter the Gungeon designed to make shop visits more valuable and consistent throughout a run. It improves the shopping experience by guaranteeing useful item categories and increasing the number of NPC encounters you can find as you progress.

Features

Guaranteed Shop Items

Bello’s Shop on every floor will now always offer at least one gun and one item, either passive or active. This helps prevent disappointing shop inventories that contain only consumables like hearts or armor, giving players more meaningful options when spending their casings.

Extra NPC Spawns

Each floor will now include one additional NPC spawn. This raises the likelihood of encountering special merchants during your run, including vendors such as the key merchant, the sell merchant, the curse merchant, and certain modded NPCs as well.

Bullet Hell Merchant

A merchant is guaranteed to appear on Floor 6, Bullet Hell. Since this floor normally does not include a shop, the added merchant gives players a final opportunity to restock supplies or spend excess casings before the last major battles.

Installation

For manual setup, make sure the following requirements are already installed:

• BepInExPack_EtG

• Alexandria

Then follow these steps:

1. Download the mod’s .zip archive.

2. Extract the archive.

3. Place the extracted BetterShop folder directly into the game’s BepInEx/plugins/ directory.

Compatibility

This mod requires both BepInEx and Alexandria to function properly. It should be compatible with most other mods, provided they do not alter the game’s shop generation system.
