Description

Loop The Gungeon

Have you ever wished an Enter the Gungeon run could continue beyond its usual endpoint? Perhaps you have experimented with stacking Clone to test the game’s limits, or wanted a way to revisit something you left behind in the Hollow. Whether or not any of that applies, this mod introduces a looping system that allows your run to continue in a fresh, newly generated Gungeon while preserving most of your inventory.

Features

Endless Gungeon Looping
This mod allows players to loop their run from the end of the Gungeon back to the beginning, generating a new version of the dungeon with each cycle. Most of your inventory is retained, allowing for long-form progression across multiple loops. As you continue, enemies become stronger, but the rewards also improve, creating a steadily escalating challenge.

Configurable Enemy And Economy Scaling
The mod includes extensive configuration options, allowing players to adjust the pace and intensity of difficulty scaling. Through the configuration file, you can modify enemy health, attack speed, movement speed, projectile speed, and reward scaling, giving you full control over how demanding or rewarding each loop becomes.

Reawakened Mastery Shrine
A new function for Master Rounds is introduced through the Reawakened Mastery Shrine. Rather than simply collecting them, players may choose to exchange them for meaningful bonuses or use the shrine as a place of recovery during extended runs.

Milestone Progression Ladder
As you progress through repeated loops, the mod tracks your accomplishments and rewards you with humorous titles and milestone-based bonuses. These additions provide a sense of progression and recognition throughout long sessions.

Quality Of Life Improvements
Several optional quality-of-life features are included, such as a boss DPS cap toggle, removal of Lord of the Jammed, improved Dragun and Lich rewards, and run summaries that help track your progress more clearly.

Mid-Game Save Support
For longer sessions, the mod supports saving mid-run, allowing players to step away and return later without losing their progress. Your loops and advancement are remembered, making endless runs more practical.

Live Configuration Reloads
Changes made to the configuration can be applied during gameplay through commands, allowing players to update loop settings without restarting the game. This makes testing and fine-tuning much smoother.

This mod is largely built around its configuration system, which serves as the core of the experience. Players can shape the loop mechanics to suit their own preferred style of challenge, while in-game commands make it easier to review or modify loop effects as needed.

How To Loop

There are two ways to begin a loop:

Early Loop Option
Players who want to continue their run before reaching the final conclusion can use the loop button located near the Blacksmith. This method allows an early reset into a new loop, but it comes with one important drawback: Master Rounds are not retained. For players willing to give them up, or those who do not have any, this can be a convenient option.

Bullet Hell Route
For players seeking greater rewards, the second method requires progressing through Bullet Hell and defeating the Lich. After that, you can initiate the loop from there and begin again with the benefits of a more complete run. Care should be taken at this stage, since the game still includes its standard ending conditions.

Whether you want to create a carefully balanced endurance challenge or push the game into complete chaos, this mod gives you the tools to reshape the Gungeon experience into something much longer, tougher, and more customizable.
