Glock 17 0.6.1 Fix

This update resolves the reversed-spawn issue caused by the new mechanic. It includes a fully completed save file with a character weighing 98 kg, plus both the GLOCK and BAR already in your inventory from the start.

Update notes

The Glock has been updated to work with the newest version, so it will no longer spawn backwards.

It has also been changed so it only fires while you are actually holding it.

About the mod

A working Glock-17 for Half Sword. If anyone can identify the sound effect in the comments, congratulations—you win nothing.

Press K to fire the gun.

Warning: the sound effect may be very loud.

The muzzle flash effect was paid for, so please enjoy it.

Requirements

This mod requires UE4SS.

Important: UE4SS is not compatible with Half Sword Enhancer.

UE4SS installation

1. Download UE4SS from the official release page.

2. On the latest release, open the Assets section and download the correct file. The exact filename may change over time, so make sure it matches the main release package and not the Zdev file.

3. Extract the contents of the ZIP into:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Binaries\Win64

4. Launch Half Sword and press F10 once the game loads to confirm that the console opens correctly.

After UE4SS is confirmed working, place the pak mod in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Content\Paks

How to use

1. Start a match on any map.

2. Open the UE4SS console with F10 or ~.

3. Paste this command:

"summon /game/mods/glock.glock_C"

Be sure not to include the quotation marks.

You can also use the included save file, which is the recommended method.
