No More Cat Sacrifices
This mod removes instant‑death outcomes from high‑risk events, turning unfair “you die for clicking a button” moments into situations you can actually plan around. Looting corpses and interacting with major story or boss‑aftermath events will no longer randomly kill your cat. Sacrifice‑style choices and progression‑trigger events still register as completed and give their intended rewards or unlocks, but they no longer force a cat to die.
The idea is straightforward: keep the tension and the rewards, but cut out the run‑ending randomness. You can still take risks, hunt rare loot, and advance the story without losing a valuable cat to a simple coin‑flip.
This mod is recommended for new players, casual runs, and anyone who would rather rely on strategy than survive sudden execution.
To use it, simply extract the data folder into the game’s root directory.
