Description

FOV, Sensitivity & Motion Blur Mod

Introduces a configurable FOV slider, separate vertical and horizontal mouse sensitivity controls, and a motion blur toggle. All settings can be adjusted in real time using hotkeys (F7/F8 for FOV, F5/F6 for vertical sensitivity, F2/F3 for horizontal sensitivity, F4 for motion blur) or through a config file. Features a simple drag-and-drop installation with no console window. Compatible with both single-player and multiplayer. Built using UE4SS.

DESCRIPTION

Thick As Thieves does not include a field-of-view slider, independent axis sensitivity controls, or an option to disable motion blur. This mod adds all of these features, applying them automatically in-game and allowing real-time adjustments via hotkeys or configuration file.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Adjustable FOV (default set to 105), controlled with F8 / F7

  • Independent vertical mouse sensitivity multiplier (F6 / F5)

  • Independent horizontal mouse sensitivity multiplier (F3 / F2)

  • Motion blur toggle (F4)

  • Clean experience with no console window or extra overlays

  • Easily customizable defaults through a config file

INSTALLATION

  1. In Steam: right-click the game > Manage > Browse Local Files

  2. Navigate to: TAT\Binaries\Win64

  3. Copy dwmapi.dll and the ue4ss folder from the zip into this directory

  4. Launch the game

CONFIGURATION

Open ue4ss\Mods\FOVMod\Scripts\fov_config.lua in a text editor and modify the FOV, vertical sensitivity, horizontal sensitivity, and motion blur settings. Save changes and restart the game.

UNINSTALLATION

Delete dwmapi.dll and remove the ue4ss folder from: TAT\Binaries\Win64

REQUIREMENTS

None. UE4SS is included in the download—just extract and use.

NOTES

  • Works in both single-player and multiplayer (no anti-cheat conflicts). Adjusted FOV and sensitivity settings may provide an advantage in multiplayer—use at your discretion.

  • Antivirus or SmartScreen warnings may appear; these are common false positives for UE4SS-based DLL mods.

CREDITS

Built using UE4SS (RE-UE4SS), an open-source framework. Thanks to the UE4SS team.
