Directive 8020 — Ultimate Engine Tweaks

After a year of refinement across 50+ UE5 titles, I’m sharing my final optimized Engine.ini tuned for this game.

Purpose
This profile packs extensive CPU/GPU/RAM/SSD optimizations to minimize stutter, boost performance, lower input latency, and sharpen visuals. It adjusts film grain, motion blur, chromatic aberration, upscaling (DLSS/FSR) and anti-aliasing, and reduces ghosting/shimmering — all designed to avoid visual loss, glitches, or crashes.

VRR vs No VRR
– VRR = Variable Refresh Rate (G-Sync/Freesync).
– If VRR is enabled in both your GPU control panel and your display, use the “VRR” variant. Otherwise use “No VRR.”

Installation
1. Run the game once and exit.
2. Download and extract the Engine.ini into:
%localappdata%\Directive8020\Saved\Config\Windows
(Win+R → paste path → Enter)
3. Right-click Engine.ini → Properties → check “Read-only” → Apply/OK.

Uninstall
Delete the modded Engine.ini; the game will revert to defaults on next launch.

Compatibility
Do NOT use alongside other “optimization” mods (they are not compatible).
